The Ohio Literacy Network’s Privacy Policy The Ohio Literacy Network is funded to provide a Learning Line for local program referrals, program assistance, electronic communications and access to live 24/7 learning tools as well as information for adult education providers in Ohio. We invite you to explore our Web site and its many resources. The information we collect is solely for the use of The Ohio Literacy Network and our sponsors. We will not give or sell your information to third-party vendors. The Ohio Literacy Network may use your contact information in the following ways: Our Registration Form • Your name and address are only used to send you our newsletter containing the latest information in adult education for our Community and ABLE members. • If you are using our on-line educational resources, your name and address will be used to send you our study tips and resources. If you do not want to receive the newsletter or study tips, just call, or email us to advise us and we will remove you from our list. * Your email address and preference list may be used to send you an email message whenever we post new information on the Web site that is in an area of interest that you have indicated. Bear in mind that the more we know about you, the better we can serve you. Under no conditions do we ever give away or sell our member list. This information is strictly for the use of The Ohio Literacy Network and its sponsors. The Ohio Literacy Network also maintains a Member Directory, which is available on-line for the purpose of locating local programs and educational services. Members may update their site profile twice each year in the Fall and Spring. You may choose to include as much or as little information as possible. The following choices illustrate your options. * Include all contact information (this will allow maximum referral possibilities as other educators and adults can see your program services. * Include only name, address, and phone (this limits referrals but is less time to update) * Just my name and email address (this choice allows minimum contact information if others all ready know your program offerings) KET/OLN Products Order Form If you order one of our products from the KET/OHIO on-line store or from The Ohio Literacy Network, the information that we require on our order form is only used to process your order quickly and accurately. Your contact information will only be used to send you the product that you purchased and your billing information will only be used to bill you for that product. This information will in no way be used for marketing purposes by OLN, nor will it be shared with any third parties. The only other information we collect is the number of times you log in to our site. We use this information to determine how many users are accessing our site and how active each user is. Sharing of the Information this Site Gathers/Tracks The information that you submit on the registration form is never shared with any third parties. It is only available to other OLN members for networking purposes and to OLN Staff for the purpose of notifying you about adult education events and information that could be of interest to you. Security The Ohio Literacy Network’s Web site contains links to other Web sites. Please be aware that our privacy policy does not apply to these linked sites. We encourage you to read the site’s posted privacy statement whenever interacting with any Web site.
